1-2-3 Ravioli Dinner
Three Quick Steps Can Lead to a Homemade, Satisfying Meal

By , About.com Guide

Homemade meals are often sadly missing from college students' time at school. This recipe for a ravioli dinner may quickly become one of your favorites.

1-2-3 Ravioli

Ingredients:

  • Pre-made ravioli (can be found in freezer or refrigerated section of any grocery store)
  • Jar of tomato sauce (your preference)

Optional ingredients:

  • Bread (sourdough or french works great)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Boil ravioli according to package instructions.

For the sauce, you can heat it up in a small pan. If you don't have a small pan, try pouring it in a coffee mug or bowl and microwaving until it gets hot, which will take less time than you think. To prevent the sauce from splattering all over your microwave, cover the cup (or bowl) with a paper towel while microwaving.

When the ravioli is done, pour off the water. Add the ravioli to a bowl and top with sauce. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and eat with a chunk of fresh bread.

Tools needed: Pot, bowl.
