The start of a new semester brings all kinds of expenses. Books, school supplies, maybe some new clothes, maybe some new items for your residence hall room, maybe a nice dinner out to celebrate being back on campus ... and then, all of a sudden, you've spent way more money than you should have.
Having a credit card in college can be a helpful resource; it can also be a major problem. As you start the semester off, make sure you know when -- and when not -- to use a credit card during your time in school. Because all of those seemingly silly little choices can add up to one major headache if you're not careful.
