Writer? Blogger? Filmmaker? Photographer? Check Out Unigo
Unigo, a relatively new Internet start-up that's been featured in the New York Times, is looking for students to "report" on their colleges and universities. The site describes itself as "the world’s largest platform for college students to share reviews, photos, videos, documents, and more with students on their campus and across the country. It’s also the best place for high school students to find out what life is really like at America’s colleges, and to make friends to help them find the school that’s right for them."
So, if you're involved in your campus and want to contribute, they may be worth a look. Their website has tons of information about colleges--including, possibly, your own--and how to join. They also have a "Rep Program" that might be interesting for those of you who want to do more than just a casual comment or review here and there.

The site looks great. there are other sites out there that do talk about life on campus that is posted by the students themselves. Is it just the amount of funding backing UNIGO that got them so much press at the get go??
It might be–I think I learned about them through a major news publication (either the NYT or the Chronicle of Higher Ed. – ?) I also liked that they had a rep. program that students can more actively engage in…
You’re right, Wendy. http://www.campuscompare.com is a site that has college student reviews. It looks like a whole bunch of new ones were posted recently–pretty cool resource for high school students.
