MEFA Now Offering Financial Aid for 2008-2009

Thursday September 25, 2008

As was reported in this blog this summer, the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority stopped offering student loans for the 2008-2009 academic year because of financial difficulties. On September 16, however, MEFA announced that they are once again able to aid students and can now follow up on requests submitted earlier. They have funds available for fall 2008 and spring 2009. (Phew!)

For more information, you can read the press release on the MEFA site or call them directly at (800) 809-0571.
